Rye of Scottsdale

Cool Like Grass, Strong Like Whiskey.

Springer Spaniels

Rye first put a paw on the golf course at just 7-weeks old. The first 3 years of her life were spent at TPC Scottsdale; keeping the migratory birds in check as the Agronomy team prepared the golf course to host the annual WM Phoenix Open. Her hard working and playful demeanor made her thrive in this environment where she would greet guests, patrol the course, and bring joy to all she encountered on her daily routine.

After moving to Grass Clippings Rolling Hills in July 2023, Rye oversaw the construction of Arizona’s first fully lit 18-hole golf course. Coming from a strong line of golf course dogs in Flagstaff, Arizona, it was decided to keep the bloodline going. In December on 2024 Rye was bred to Cash, a beautiful tri-coat with bird dog roots originating from New Mexico. On January 28th 2024 Rye gave birth to 10 healthy pups: 5 liver/white and 5 black/white. This first litter was an awesome experience and we hope to breed Rye again in the future.
